One / Many series deals with the idea of deconstructing the image of the self for the sake of the other. To give up the illusion of wholeness and to embrace the reality of fragmentation. I took my national and gender identity as an Eritrean male, and the national gender identity of a close friend as an Ethiopian female to deconstruct. This opens up the endless possibilities of combination that is formally and symbolically possible as the two embraces each other. What you see is one of many configurations.
